Wreckage

I will sing of my Savior in all His power and glory

A kind Lord who saved me by His redeeming grace

I will tell of Christ Jesus, it’s such a wonderful story

When I get to Heav’n I’ll get to see Him face to face

Like a rope thrown to wreckage He reached out His hand to save me

Pulled me up and guided me onto a solid rock

I get it now, I’m safe and sound, He is the one who made me

All I had to do was answer when I heard my heart’s door knock

I was driving in depression searching for some love and fun times

But each time I tried my own plan all I seemed to find was pain

Since I let God navigate all my clouds have turned to sunshine

He gives me hope and promises a future full of gain

When I take time to listen I can hear His Word conveying

His love is unconditional, forgiveness there for all

He wants joy, abundant joy, for you; He hears you when you’re praying

He loves you if you’re rich or poor, fat, skinny, short, or tall

So I will sing of my Savior in all His power and glory

A kind Lord who saved me by His redeeming grace

I will tell of Christ Jesus, it’s such a wonderful story

When I get to Heav’n I’ll get to see Him face to face
